Cash Transfers and IPV Research Collaborative
Featuring Dr. Amber Peterman, Research Associate Professor
Department of Public Policy at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill
Please join us for our upcoming Virtual Brown Bag event featuring Dr. Amber Peterman from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Dr. Peterman will present a summary of evidence produced by the Cash Transfers and Intimate Partner Violence (IPV) Research Collaborative. Feel free to share this invitation and widely.
The collaborative is a group of inter-disciplinary researchers advancing the research agenda and evidence-to-policy linkages between cash transfers and IPV in LMICs. The presentation will include results from a recent mixed-method evaluation of the Government of Ghana’s LEAP 1000 cash transfer program finding reductions in IPV in the quantitative evaluation, paired with new qualitative evidence unpacking pathways of impact [with the Transfer Project, including Elsa Valli, Clare Barrington, Tia Palermo, Ray Aboringo & Akalpa Akaligaung].
