Transitional Research on Child Neglect Consortium
The need for integration and coordination of services for maltreating families has long been called a critical component of effective intervention. Compared to the substantial volume of research specific to child welfare services, relatively little work has been done to examine the role of services obtained from other systems in promoting positive outcomes for neglected children. The 2010 TRCN meeting will focus on what is known and not known about the cross-sector service use of neglected children and their families and discuss implications for evidence-based practice and policy.
